This was the first photo set I ever made (I took these pictures when I was 17). It was created as a final project for my photography class.

The inspiration for this project came from the depression I experienced during my final year of high school. The story in this photo set is about a person who suffers from depression and decides to commit suicide. However, during the process, it appears as though he simply falls asleep. At this point, I want to leave it up to the audience to imagine—did he just fall asleep and start dreaming, or did he actually die for a period of time?
